Had the same probs with my DR650. The choke (cold start enrichment circuit) plunger wasn't seating causing an extremely rich mixture. Cleaned it up and fixed the prob.

The racks are from Cycleracks.com out of Boise, Idaho. They're well built and will hold a weekend's worth of camping gear. We have also installed Ricochet skid plates on the DR200s.
