There's been a setback getting the OEM gears to Nova. It turns out customs wants about $150 duty. That's a deal breaker for ADV8. The billet gears will be about $435 USD. There's no VAT for USA...

Some cars adjust for altitude at start up only. If the bikes were descending allot between start ups, they could've been running too lean.

My best guess is maybe the 3rd world gas 'defiled' the O2 sensors and the engines ran too lean.

This should be looked at by BMW as an opportunity to learn from.
