Start spraying any and all bolts with some PB Blaster or the like now and do it every couple of days. Then clean the bikes as best you can, then start taking them apart.

I'm on my second starter button. And the 2nd one is finicky now. Sometimes I have to jiggle it to get it to make contact. Try cleaning it. There is a tiny spring which seems to fatigue...

I can switch to reserve even on bony off-road trails. You should have enough time on a track to switch on a straight away. It's just another form of race practice.

#2 is for the reserve fuel line.
#3 is an overflow or vent line from the tank that also runs...
