I'd agree with Jam! The MT21 is more of a 60-65 dirt/35-40street tire it seems like but still a great choice. Personally I am 100x more aggressive in dirt so I am fine with that!

I can vouch for the D606's. That's all I've had so far on my Dr650 and I'm super happy. They grip great on the street and I use them for trails meant for KTM 250's up here in NW WA with no problems...

Just wanted to throw out that some k3's have the metal gasket as well (such as mine :-). It's hit and miss from what I've seen, but they're out there!

Well, true to my nature, I rode the DR as hard as a I could today at a place called Reiter Pitt here in WA. My super thick skid plate is still on backorder so I'm riding case-exposed, and got lucky...

K3Dr650 Owner here, strongly considering a switch the r model. I do my best at riding my Dr650 like a lot of people ride there 2stroke 200's and it seems like the Xr is much more condusive to this...

They tell you for 'best results' to apply a bonding sealant to prevent exhaust leaks. The fit is tight and it clamps down well so I didn't even bother with it.
