Thanks everyone, this is the answer. Well that saved me about $500, the side bag fits nicely I can split lanes and everything is one key.

Dropped it in the driveway!!! Had the bars turned too much and stalled it facing uphill. Down she goes.

Those big metal boxes and crash bars on the adventure definitely work.

the funny thing is the bike came with HID but the bulb had blown. when i replaced it thats when it messed up the display. the ballast is mounted behind the tachometer.
