Thanks Taco, I had a local machinist turn a bushing that pressed onto the xr stem then into the wr triple. The bushing ended up havin a double shoulder to allow for the circlip groove.

I finally got some work done on my fork swap....

I finally got some work done on my fork swap. They don't make the bike run cooler, but the sure make it look that way. The forks are 46mm KYB off of a Yamaha WR400.

Thanks Mental, the ride was good. The vibes at the footpegs weren't as bad as I thought they would be, I only rode 20 miles though.

I did measure the lengths of both steering heads (I think that's what its called) and the wr is about 1/2" longer.

I purchased a 14 and 15 tooth primary drive Xrr sprockets, both required a little grinding to fit. My bike only had 1,000 miles when I installed them.
