Don't know your injury, but the only thing that has ever worked for me (slight bulges, tears, pinched nerves, etc) is mellow activity and rest. PT, chiro, etc has only made my injuries more...

It's certainly no freeway bike (like any of the thumper trail-type bikes). You could easily swap the sprocket/counter though if you were looking to ride more road than dirt.
