I don't get it. There is not a lot of difference between what's shown on the video and a similar procedure shown in the Barbour rewaxing video. Hot wax, work it into the fabric, wipe off the excess.

FWIW Silverwing rear shocks are 415-425 mm long bolt hole center to center.

That's pretty long. You might be able to find/adapt some truck air shocks to fit.
