What's kept you from riding it? Maybe a blast around the block will rekindle your interest... it will be a world of difference from your KLR (even with a bad linkage bearing).

300mm rotor ? I think it was used 98 - 01 (?) and still is on the Dakar bikes... It's the caliper mounting boss on the fork leg that makes it possible, using the same caliper etc.

I'm not sure it actually slices the seals... unless it has dirt in it(?)... it's more the frozen water droplets get rammed through the seal repeatedly, lose a little oil each time... lose the gas...
