Cool

I know a few welders and will come up with something, but it sure seems like a good idea for a skid plate manufacturer to offer a little more meat where it's needed.

24 hour mud race

Well the Starvation Ridge 24 hour race turned into a mud bog. Monsoon rains destroyed the course. I was still chucking along in 11th place (in class) out of 23 when I had a bit of close call with one...

Come to Starvation ridge you will find a team

To be competitive a team really needs 5 or 6 people. Life gets busy and my riding buddies are either on other teams or can't make it this year. So me and my pal are going for the long solo race. I...

How long is 24 hours anyway?

Guess I'm going to find out. I'll be racing solo next weekend. Just installed a Cyclops H4 LED bulb into the stock headlight on my WR250R dual sport and it's awesome. That along with an HID helmet...

After pitting for the Heavyweights last year I had fun but missed racing. Pitting for the Baja Rally 2.0 involved a lot of waiting but sunny days. I might do the same thing this year if I don't put...

Lynnwood Motoplex

Lynnwood motoplex did the inspection on my converted wr250F for $50 last year. They didn't seem super picky on requirements like dot labeled brake hoses and lenses. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

An arangement must have been met

An arrangement must have been met. I saw the skid mark at the crash spot. it was crazy long. I also saw the bike right after the crash, there was road rash top, bottom, both sides.

2013 F700gs Harsh Ride

I'm surprised how few 100 mile racers finished the full 100 miles. I'm not sure how many racers took off in that first wave, but only 256 of us completed both laps.

PS - My TKC 80 rear tire is at around 40% tread... Is this likely to be enough for a conservative n00b?[/QUOTE]\

two liters will be fine

I ran my yz250f with a .8 gallon accessory tank last year with 13/49 gearing last year and was fine. Rather have too much than not enough. This year I upgraded to a bigger tank though.

Make a trip to one of the dealers near Seattle, it'll be worth it. I'm 5'6" and have a 29" inseam and rode a 950 for years. Stay away from the "tall" seats and the "R" or "S" suspension and you'll be...
