Big Improvement

I got a black gloss (thanks but no on "carbon look"), to bad no blue. That would have been nice. Looks much nicer than the weathered smoke lexan/polycarb/whatever of the aging stock one.

I just got a set a week ago. Amazing so far, I cannot wait to hit the mountains of CA. I've had various knobbies on for a few years.

The thing that really intrigues me is what people say about...

When I used to hang with the Moto Guzzi crowd, one guy would show up at rallies towing is full-size canoe. But that's a friggin' Guzzi, not a KTM LC8.

BTW, the guy looked really happy floating...

Mefo Super Explorer for $165. I was shocked until I checked the KLR650 where I got my last Stonemaster rear, and it was also in that same range.

I LOVE the Stonemaster!

Holy Dead Thread!

Oceano Dunes SP

Downside--no bars within stumbling distance.

Upside--a drunken fall in sand (at walking speed) doesn't hurt too much.

I've never ridden there, but it looks excellent.
