I'm a die hard 640adv but that said the 640adv is tall and mine does ribrate a little. Go for the dr 650, if you up grade the suspension it will make it fell better on single track. Maybe not...

First rally finished and first thousand ks done. Thanks for feedback on the luggage tank bag extended up was just right to keep the load wind off. 2000k ride next. Go the sportster. :rofl

If the arrow on the tyre controls which way force is applied to a tyre and backing force is greater on the front then shouldent the tyre be fitted backwards because the load is greatest under backing?

From my place to willemsdale on the menaro highway and back plus a bit around town.Mite see if I can carry some fuel just for peace of mind, to run out of fuel would be a real bummer.

Did 100 k and then refilled yesterday and it took 4.6 l. I will try and do it again to day just so I have some idea of mileage, don't want to mess any one around on Friday. (12.5l tank)j

5 days camping, spot on. Looks like your sadle bags are shorter and top bag ( dufle bag ) wider than mine. I gess I just have to stop making excusses it only money.
