I think this is correct... the locking bolt is always going to place it at TDC. The cam however can be in two positions at TDC, for example when checking valves you may have to turn another 360 on...

I thought the cylinder on the XC4 is Nikasil plated? Which is harder than any non-diamond hone. And thin, I wouldn't want to chance removing any from the already thin PVD...

LED's require proper polarity unlike a filament bulb.
