I would think twice before cutting loose of the alloys.

Two sets of wheels, your alloys with street tires and the spoke with TKC80's or the Kenda Big Blocks.
It sure makes it nice to have the choice. Not in a hurry, it takes about 40 minutes to swap...

When you pull the carb be careful not to tear/separate the rubber intake at the airbox.
The choke (fuel enrichment) cable has a plastic 90 degree elbow at the carb
that's easy to break.
