It's a bit jumpy, esp. during acceleration and not back-lit. OK overall but nothing like a factory tach.

When you guys installed the tank fuel pump adapter, did you add any kind of liquid gasket goop (if so, what kind?) or was the O-ring a sufficient seal all on its own?

Solved, or rather close enough. Increasing the wraps on the plug wire produced the most consistent readings. Set the unit at 0.5. Still a bit jumpy but overall acceptable.

I can't say they add to the aesthetic appeal to my 1150 GS, but for $22 they sure do the job of letting me stretch my legs out on...
