I will if I determine that it there will be a sufficient reduction in risk by doing so. In other words, it depends. On the street my actions are mostly risk based, not convience or time based.

My 955 is sorted however. The 1050 I rode had a lousy suspension and clunky transmission. If it weren't for those two things I likely would've bought...

A twitchy throttle was the one thing I couldn't get used to when I test rode an Explorer early last year. I guess that's been fixed for 2013? It was a very nice machine otherwise.
