FIrst one at age 60

It took me til age 60 to scratch the itch and I love my new used HD Superglide. Smooth, rumbling and it is a HARLEY. Two dealers at each end of town. Simple 1930's technology. So much fun and so...

Think of a Super Glide

After lots of research and soul searching (finally wanted to scratch the Harley itch), I decided on a Harley for the heritage, sound, dealer network and its from here in Wisconsin. Then I looked at...

I was able to ride 6 Harleys in two days at the Fall Ride last year in Tomahawk, WI. We all went out on our own, following the arrows. I missed seeing a turn and kept on going straight for a LONG...

All fine, but the Harley dealer network is vastly better than the Triumph dealer density. Just lost my local dealer last year and now would have to go 40 miles for a dealer. Something to think...

As alternatives, how about a Honda Shadow Aero 750 or a Sportster 1200C?

Anyone have an opinion on the wider front tire on the current year model, versus, the narrower tire on previous years? I am wondering about low speed manuevering and hiway stability.

Have you looked at this V Star and Kawasaki? Maybe more comfortable than the Sportster. Lots of local dealers.

I would like to hear what others say about these two mini beasts. I have thought...

How about something smaller?

Don't think big and fast. I met a guy at bike night tonight that crossed Canada on a Vespa 250. I rode a Vespa 150 today. Do you need to go fast, or can it be reliable and slow? Stick to the...

Cry They lost the Triumph line

Just got a letter from Triumph USA today stating that Sharer's is no longer a Triumph dealer. Sad. They are great guys and have a great repair service, which, I hope remains open.
