I have one of those. Just did My First Carb Sync (not on a KTM). Very easy to use. I think a good choice for a carb syncin' n00b like me who doesn't want additional DIY complications.

It's possible to modify it so that the peak comes more forward. One has to make a new hole for the "top" screw, as far back as possible. The rearmost attachment tab of the cover lid has to be removed...

Manual says 1600. Is there a reason not to adjust it down to 1600 or so? Like in real life it will start stalling...

I'm pretty sure my '09 manual says 10W60 (the manual is in the garage, I'll try to remember to check). The Finnish importer uses Motorex 10W60 full synth.

10W60 is harder to find in most places...

Had to grind the original right side peg a little to keep it from hitting the brake lever (as advertised) but no big deal....

Put insulating tape on the bar on the clutch side, that evens things out some. The right side with plastic throttle bits under the grip instead of metal will still get hot faster but it evens out...
