The best I ever got was about 48mpg, in stock form. Once I rejetted, went to 14/48 and added Knobbies, then added a Q4 and rejetted again, I average 35mpg on the trail and maybe low 40's on the slab.

Holy crap!!!!! You'd have to go up another fork spring size to accomodate for that thing. SO, what bike was it originally made for? the rear mount has two holes instead of one, like the "L" has.

No, but with a 15 cs it will move the rear wheel forward quite a bit, like a 3 setting on the adjusters. if you are running a 14 CS, it will be set more like 8-10.
