The Michelin T63 works the same as the MT21, but for much longer, especially in rocks. Hard cornering on the tarseal, the T63 slides sooner and more predictably, whereas the MT21 lets go suddenly and...

That's actually quite impressive, and I'll have to give it a crack. Ha Ha! <Groan> Might see if I can get a fooked one from a wrecker as a test run. Although, if I can merely bend mine by hand about...

Even a correctly tuned engine will do this. It's not in itself a sign there's a problem. Just means the idle fuel system can't sustain combustion on overrun.

When I was looking to buy my 640 I wrote to the late Tony Kirby at Sidetrack magazine and asked about the LC4 versus an EXC. His answer was short: if you are doing more than 5,000 km a year, get the...

It was pretty bad on the street for me, slid everywhere! It was actually dangerous they way it would step out at quite a modest clip. No traction on gravel, forget mud, even a small puddle would stop...

The Kenda K270 is the worst tyre ever. It's appalling. The are two other cheap brands that do a similar tyre that is much better, IRC GP1 and Shinko SR244.

I would be inclined to say go for the 640E, as it will cope with the highway and luggage better. Off-road I'd say it'd be no change, as the weight is a negative but suspension is a positive. Be aware...
