I'd say more like $1200. My rule of thumb is that the bike should be worth twice as much sold as parts as it costs. The parts alone are worth about $2400 (rough estimate).

I suggest about 2 feet of fuel line. Not really a tool but extremely useful for cutting into shims or sealing minor leaks. Useful as fuel line too.

Some zip ties of various sizes will help too.

If you are too tall for an airhead I am really too tall. At 197 cm I have high (US) bars and pegs in their low position. I use a pad over the seat on longer trips.

You will fit fine.
