For some reason I'm getting good wear out of the stock MT-21 rear tire. I'm 220 lbs and ride fairly conservative, 80% on road, 20% fire roads/trails, 30 psi most of the time. Maybe the roads here in...

Riders be careful if you're headed up to the Dalton Hwy. The Elliot that leads up to the Dalton Hwy has lots of road damage. It varies from just a little crumbling asphalt to tire swallowing craters...

They are indeed MT-21 tires. That's what came stock on it. Although i have seen this years model come with an entirely different/ more road oriented tire. These handle pretty well for full knobbies....

I can only speak for my DR....yes ...little suzi is cold blooded!!! I did the air-screw mod two years ago after getting frustrated with its cold start performance and WOW what a difference it made....

+1 on the goggle & DS helmet set up. Me and the wife went CCW from Halifax last year. Conditions were moderately dry and the goggles kept most on the grit out of your eyes!! good luck and be safe.
