It's technique. I have changed to both Anakee 3's and Tourance EXP's - neither took more than 15 minutes a tire.

Go slow, take small bites with the tire irons, use lots of lube. Worked just fine...

1. Did you air down the Tourances? 20psi definitely helps a lot.
2. I agree, the Tourances are not very good in gravel...but they do work a little better...
