Same here, all was fine for the first few hundred...

Same here, all was fine for the first few hundred miles then the switch stuck in the centre position. I decided to apply brute force and ignorance and forced the switch which freed it but broke it....

The extra o-rings are so you can replace all the o-rings on the filter cover, drain bolt, strainer bolts and strainers themselves. I don't know if they need changing every oil change...

No idea what causes it but I get the same squeak. Swingarm's greased and I took the shock out and regreased the pivots, thought that had cured it but it's back again. Like you I can't think what else...
