I use a sealing insulated mug and when done it doubles as water/dust resistant storage for my caffeine fix supplies etc. It is a luxury that is worth the extra bit of space and it is dual use.

I use a stuff sack with some clothing and attach it (via a prussic knot) to my ridge line. Keeps the pillow in place when I move and works fine.
