By looks, the source was the electrical pass through. Sealed it with some fuel and oil resistant "seal all" but I think it effed up the fuel gauge connection cause now I'm not getting a reading :ddog

I'd bet on a balancer shaft leak. I have no experience with this but have heard of it being more common than a rear main seal on these particular bikes. Expensive if you don't do it yourself.
