I would say that you will need at least 5 to 6 days minimum to get to Lillooet but that is only if all the route is open, no mechanical or tire issues and weather.

The Big Trailie bikes like the S10 or GS are much better bikes with the 21" front wheel and a proper set of tires. The advantage is very noticeable in loose gravel, mud, sand, creek crossings etc....

Are you still waiting for the Ralle-Moto fork clamp? The extra clearance for the 21" front wheel is going to be necessary if you get into any real mud. Even with it, it doesn't take much mud to plug...

Now that I have had time to try the bike off road and on pavement with the 21"/17" combination I think the 17" rear was the right decision.

It's no surprise the GS is much better off pavement...
