Badlands isn't a bad place. It is just crazy crowded on the weekends, which can be intimidating. I've been there on weekdays and had the place to myself. Those times are great for taking your time...

I have short legs and really liked sitting on the DRZ400SM. The "S" version was too tall, though.

I am comfortable now with my unlowered DR650, though there are times I wish it was lower.
