I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 with 19" calves. The SG-10's, Combat Lite and TCX Deserts none of which fit. The Crossfire 2's barely fit with them in the larger setting

I used a 15 year old Black and Decker 1/2" chuck drill motor and had not one problem with two installs. Slow and steady with some cutting oil worked great.
