I've never actually owned a GPS that could do text-to-speech to hear the street names. My Magellen doesn't do voice prompts at all, and my tomtom One does not say the street names either....

I always stay back a bit more than I would in a car. I don't do this because I have doubts about my bike being able to stop in time - I do it simply because I feel safer with more of a "buffer zone"...

Wow - I had this same bike when I was growing up. Mine was a silver 1978 DT175 with red pinstriping on the tank. I loved that bike and never had any issues with it no matter how much I abused it!
