Every review I've seen says the Grom will hit ~50, but throw in a grade or headwind and you'll be struggling to maintain 45. Maybe add 5 MPH to those figures after the engine breaks in.

The new FZ-07 is a direct competitor to the Ninja 650, and according to all the reviews so far, has a much better engine in it. It's a naked and the Ninja is a faired bike, which is nice for choice.
