I had the same feeling on a 1190 EDS.....

Trade it for an R model !!! :clap

I did, after 15k km's - no regrets :norton

The damping presets on the EDS need more refinement; it might be a software mod....someday...

1. Up to a total of 40k km's on 1190's now - no breakdowns, no unscheduled trips the workshop. :1drink

2. Unifilter in at new - no dust in airbox at all. Might try the K+N filter.

I did 15k kms on the STD model, and it was lovely, but the big wheels on the R model eat up all the crappy roads so much better than what a 17" rear wheel...

Done some dusty riding in that time, but with care; shutting down, or clutch in/idleing when passing thru dusty...

Very impressed with the road holding - you can still run with sports bikes in the twisties...and still get through...
