Chris, what size FCR should I look for? I did the conversion to an FCR on a DRZ a few years ago and was pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Thanks Chris. That makes sense with the throttle coming out the top. After doing the math I'm not sure buying a cheaper carb and putting it together will save me any money over buying one already...

It works perfectly. Your bracket fits like a glove. Having that much range in Nevada really opened up some opportunities to go farther out. We never really rode any challenging terrain...

I had some pretty nice stock shocks before too but the real reason for the switch was the ability to tune them. I am still working on dialing them in now but they are already nicer than the stock...

Hey Doc,
I spent quite some time trying to get my XR front wheel to fit my CR250R forks and finally gave up and found a CRF front wheel on ebay. Fit like a glove and required no brake or hub mods.
