:clapOK my Suzi is now officially 30 years young..still hauling my butt to work on the freeway in Orange County California. New clutch and street biased Kenda tires have her running like a top.

Not sure about rivets..I am putting in my 3rd set of plates (first set of metal plates) along with new friction plates...interestingly if you look at Barnett website I got 5 friction plates and ONE...

She has put up and torn down countless Desert MC...

I was just there at show and that new baby tiger is awesome...very light...and love that 21 inch front wheel on XC.
over all the show was much smaller than in the past, fewer vendors and a few mfg...

Had a 2006 Tiger and loved the triple's power and honestly the bike handles on the street very well adn I could even stay with my Buddy's MV on the tight twisties...if it got to big sweepers he left...

I help set up, run a check point and tear down every year. This 1985 SP has been all over the dez and baja...still ride to work every day on her. Note the ADV Toureg stickie on headlight cowl.

I am the original owner of my 1985 sp600 and she is still stone reliable and a good bike....You have to get the 'start sequence' down....but she fires up my age, i am getting envious of...

Enjoy one of the best darn motorcycles built. I have an 06 955 and love it...darn near stayed with my buddy on MV Agusta this past Sept in the Sierras. (Ebbett's pass)

I choose a my Suzuki SP 600 as it is light enough (lighter than tiger) and powerful enough to slug through anything challenging. Hasn't let me down in 23 years!

Common SP problem...back off and away you go...put the bike in first..against a wall...let the clutch out..if the bike doesn't climb the wall...
get on bike bandit and buy new plates!
