When I changed the plugs on the bike I was surprised to discover I didn't have a spark plug socket to fit, I thought I had all of them. Had to use the tool in the bike tool kit.

Personally I would mention it to the Service Dept. Mgr., not in a hostile way but just to let them know that the way they handle basic/warranty work affects how you view taking your bike back to them...
