When I sold my '97 DR650 it had 56K on it and the only thing that had been replaced (apart from chain/rings) was 1 clutch cable.

Most of the bikes that I see on my travels on citylink have their plate obscured in some form..be it from mounting position, dirt or luggage....I think it'll increase soon dramatically soon :lol3

I did a 50km each way commute 5 days a week for 8 years on a 97 DR650 and never had a problem...that was 90% highway going from outer east Melbourne over to the west....if i was do up that another...

Replacing front brake pads

So its time for me to replace the front brake pads...got the pads and go to unscrew the mounting pin screw thing - whoever last did it has over tightened it and damaged some of the top of the screw...
