I've dropped my F8 several times with the Wunderlich shifter taking a hit. Just had to straighten it back to original shape without cracks or breaks, but I do carry a spare.

You might try the Sage Inn, close to Plaza area and easy haul to BMW dealer. Haven't been in the place but they have given good discounts to groups I've been associated with.

Sign me up!! Wiithout any racks my Siskiyou right side pannier lays against turn signal unit & is begging to be crushed by the pannier in a tipover. Put me on your list please.

Dropped mine several times and it never dies. Seems like a fairly simple thing to put a an interrupter type switch along handle bar kill switch wiring such as most outboard motors (and others)...
