How reliable is a 1100GS???....Personally I think they are OK at around 100,000 km you should think about replacing the shaft...

I fixed my rattle by replacing three of the wave washers with fibre washers so the disk no longer floats on the bobbins...more of a solid disk.....8 years ago....still no issues.
