You get more usable travel if you get rid of progressive springs as well. The bike, like so many these days, is under sprung and over damped. Especially the forks.

Nice idea, but a see a problem. Without a cantilever/pantilever (sp) rear end, that thing will be jacking all over the place. Twin disks up front would be welcome on a standard V7.

Yes. I rode a 2012 Racer and a 2013 Stone back-to-back. The 2013 has much better fueling, responds to throttle inputs quicker, and is just more fun.

I have about 1000 miles on mine. I'm getting about 38 mpg, but I rarely see 5th or 6th on my commute. A long ride should yield much better mileage.
