Yes, all the small oil passages are after the filter.

Your disintegrating cam chain guides are in the same oil compartment as the engine oil sump which is upstream of the screen and filter.

If you're in a pinch you can buy them from your local Caterpillar dealer ($$$$$), I think Harley may also use them.
