My 1984 R80RT was geared a little too tall for 3rd world travel with a 32/11 original rear diff.
I put on a 32/10 for one long trip and still found it was not low enough.

Your best bet is to fly them to NZ.
Ride out to the freight terminal at vancouver airport (yvr)
