I had to take mine to 3 different places to get them to bead out. Finally, at the local Chevy dealer, they had a "Cheetah" inflater to pop them out. It was a major pain.

I'd be more worried about the bottom end than the top end. My brother's Fantic sucked some dirt through itself once and it trashed out all of his bottom end bearings. It was not a cheap fix.

As a starter bike, there is nothing like a Yamaha TY250. You can find them fairly easily, parts are available and they are pretty bulletproof.
A Bultaco Sherpa T or a Ossa MAR both work well also....
