With Nitro those numbers wouldn't be too surprising. That stuff makes excellent cylinder pressures. Its a testament to KTM that they can run stock pistons. That's reassuring for the turbo project!

Well, the new plenum ran great, for about one tank of fuel. Then it felt like some of the snap was lost. I pulled the plenum back off and discovered the RTV bonding the new rubber seal on had let go....

For what its worth, I doubt changing the fuel...
For what its worth, I doubt changing the fuel pump will solve the problem. On my bike I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and have tried settings from 1.5 to 12 psi with no improvement.

I now understand why the plenum-to-carb seal failed. There is a tiny amount of oil in the intake track. That softened the foam rubber seal. This shows the worst accumulation, so I'm not too worried....
