I've never seen an aftermarket harness that I'd want to use. I made my own instead and am really happy with it. You can find wiring diagrams in the XRR electrical thread.

Just my two cents worth, but I've not seen a cooling difference with the fluididyne, and when you add the cover the air flow is reduced and you're out a lot of money for less performance. The stock...

I you place the entire current from a fully wound stator (250/250W) to the DC or AC side of the stock wiring harness, somethings going to to go sooner or later. Just too much power for that thin...

Maybe Pete95 can set us straight. I always thought it was the more expensive one for the XRR. It'd be nice though if it was more 7-11 than Brinks price :1drink Armor sucks.

There's no need to run the lights all the time to protect the stock AC regulator from burning out. It can handle a 100 watt stator output with no load at all, as the Honda baja race teams did when...

That's what I'd do until you have time to do your AC/DC project. The wiring can handle 100w no problem. It's usually when people go all AC or DC, connecting the two stator outputs together (200w) to...

The stock wiring will handle a 60w bulb, as can the switch. 100 watts is another story for the switch (failure over time expected), marginal for the wiring.
