However that could be down to the bigger front wheel on the xc not turning in as quickly. An 800 roadster wouldn't have that problem.

I'm 6 foot and with the seat on the highest...

I'm 6 foot and with the seat on the highest setting the 800 was more comfortable. That said the 1050SE has a sportier seating position than the earlier 1050.
