Be sure to tap the threads out on that to 8mm and 1.25 thread pitch, maybe larger if you can, it should increase the holding strength of the subframe. This is what I plan on doing soon.

I had a scotts dampner and triple clamp on mine and got rid of it, now I want it back. I really think it does depend on your style of riding but they are nice all around!
