Great Riding Area - Both Off and On Pavement

Guys from this website go to Laurel Forks every year. They should be able to help you. Canaan down to Spruce Knob is my favorite WV DS ride. The paved roads are great too.

The pool of high-mileage riders seems to have dried up. The ratio of writers to riders looks like it's about 1000:1. Worse than I thought.

Won't Idle

An engine that will run only with the choke on usually has a clogged pilot jet. The gas in the carb probably dried and the residue blocked the jet.

Jens, where have you ridden your bikes? There aren't that many kms of roads in Denmark. The most I managed on my XTs (#1 - 35K miles/#2 - 9K miles) is 44K miles.

Sounds like a great event and the roads to get their are some of the best in the US. NY 30 - from start to finish the best paved road in NYS (and it's 300 miles long), NY 10 - short, twisty, and fun....
