Looking at the stator plate (link below), I only see one adjustment screw for the points. If I use it to set the points gap, then how do i adjust the timing without changing the gap? Or od I set the...

Yep, that's the stator plate type that I have (link below). And like the photo, it seems to have 3 wires soldered to it (rather than just one). I guess its time to break out the soldering gun.
