So what's the bottom line? I have a mint '75 Z1 with only 2700 miles on it. :norton I don't think it was a 49 state model back then.

Will I have any problem?

Ah, the perfect alu polish from the old days is still available. HAPPICH Semichrome polish from Germany. It polishes aluminum to look much better (deeper look) than chrome.

I'm looking at an '82 with three rust spots on the tank exterior. The bike runs ok but will need at least tires and carb tweaks.
