Definitely wire wheels. Went cast on my 1200 and wished I went the other way. No problems but wire is stronger and looks more appropriate. I have yellow now, prefer grey, but white is growing on me.

I've been on a 2005 r1200gs. What did you like so much better about the '08 GSA? Very curious as I'm thinking about upgrading to a 2012 GSA or the '13 GS.
